The album opens and closes with samples from an album about our hometown of Rochester, NY, released the year I was born. These bookend samples represent the edges of the beam. We of course have a healthy helping of existential dread (how I see the world, oops), but we walk away with an agnostic solution. We can see the problems, but we're going to purr until the light goes out."
