Bone Thugs N Harmony at The Republik in Honolulu

BAMP Project has been brought the bulk of hip hop shows to the Islands in the past year. Once again fans at The Republik were entertained by a night of rhymes. Bone Thugs N Harmony and their extended family visited the islands for shows on Oahu, Kauai, and Maui.

Bone Thugs N Harmony, formed in Cleveland in 1991, and were discovered by Eazy - E of NWA, are often considered one of the greatest hip hop vocal groups of all time. Although Bizzy Bone was missing, Layzie Bone, Wish Bone, Krayzie Bone, and Flesh N Bone entertained the crowd with their melodic style for nearly an hour.

Songs such as “Thuggish Ruggish,” “Home,” “I Tried,” and “Foe The Luv of $” had the lively crowd singing the lyrics to the songs which they fell in love with during the nineties. Midway through the set the group payed tribute to their heroes Eazy - E, Notorious B.I.G. and Tupac in both song and on the big screen at the back of the stage. “Crossroads” closed out the set of the most melodic group in hip hop.

Throughout the night the group was hyping material that will be released from the Bone Thugs N Harmony family. If this concert was preview, fans will have a lot to look forward to!
