almost monday rolled through Chicago in support of their debut album DIVE. The San Diego trio are seeing continued success with DIVE, as they ride a #3 Alt Radio hit with “can’t slow down”.
Made up of Dawson Daugherty (vocals), Cole Clisby (guitar), and Luke Fabry (bass), almost monday transformed from garage jam sessions and D.I.Y. gigs in San Diego into one of indie pop’s most exhilarating new voices. They burst onto the scene in 2020 with their debut EP, don’t say you’re ordinary, produced by Simon Oscroft (The Naked and Famous, DREAMERS). Infectious singles like “parking lot view” and “come on come on” quickly gained traction, while the anthemic “broken people” and its Sofi Tukker remix propelled them into the Top 20 at Alternative Radio.
Momentum surged in 2021 with their sophomore EP, til the end of time, featuring hits like “live forever” and “cool enough.” Their sun-soaked, coastal-inspired sound reached new heights in 2022 with singles like “sunburn” and “sun keeps on shining”—the latter becoming a Top 10 hit on SiriusXM Alt Nation and the official anthem of the Vans US Open of Surfing.
Now, with over 600 million streams and a rapidly growing global fanbase, almost monday is making 2024 their biggest year yet. With their first #1 alt radio hit “can’t slow down”, a U.S. tour with Beach Weather, a summer arena run with AJR and MXMTOON, plus a six-week European tour with The Driver Era, the trio continues to electrify stages worldwide. Their debut album is out now, solidifying their place as a defining force in modern indie pop.
